Bolognese Single
A good Bolognese is hearty and contains substance and so does this track. It’s a slow and low heat to simmer the ingredients that makes a good Bolognese and this song follows suit. With a slow yet hearty and heavy beat by Four Limbs of Manchester U.K. Freddy gives it all the right flavor with his bars. Get a plate of that good Bolognese! Artwork by Kai Pierce aka Big O Mutton Arbuckle.
Level Up Single
This is the Lead Single off of GRAVY. This song is a banger simple and plain. When Flip Jackson’s on the beat you can not go wrong and it is sure to always excite and entice the listener. Freddy displays his lyrical abilities and shows how he’s “Leveled Up” his game. With this type of beat he needed to and succeeded. It’s upbeat tempo, exciting transitions and catchy hook made it an easy choice for the lead single off of The Gravy EP. The artwork done by Kai Pierce aka Big O Mutton Arbuckle.
I'm Different Single Feat. Attica Barz & Stu Bangas
This is the second single off of GRAVY. The pairing of Attica Barz with Stu Bangas just fits perfectly with Freddy’s lyrical cadence and skills. The melody of the hook will keep you wanting more as Freddy proves he is Different than your average emcee. The beat of course is a certified Stu Banga and does not disappoint. Recorded/Mixed & Mastered by The Arcitype from The Bridge Sound and Stage in Cambridge MA.
Da Boss
Bars on top of Bars on top of Bars on top of Bars. Whenever someone uses an already popular beat they better kill it! Freddy did just that over this classic Fabolous beat. This song was originally supposed to be on The Memory Lap$ but ended up becoming a single instead. For those that are a fan of straight up BARS, you need this song in your catalog.
Hello, Good Evening (Remix) Feat. Natural Soul
Never Fakin Jacks
This is a single that never found a home or landed on a project. Freddy again drew from real life inspirations when creating this song. Tap in and make sure to get in the mind set of keeping it real at all times when you listen to Never Fakin Jacks. This beat gives it that sample boom bap feel. But it has no sample as it’s just using Freddy’s own bars to cut and scratch in on the hook. Natural Soul on production. This is a classic no question.
Unapproachable
Unapproachable is an Underground classic for certain. Grubby Paws, a legend in the production world, gives the beat that gritty boom bap griminess and Freddy’s lyrics compliment it perfectly. This song was on a hard to find compilation album previously released by Grubby Paws. Thankfully Freddy decided to make it a little more accessible to the fans. Tap in and enjoy
Venom
This song was made for Shattered Comics and also to scratch Freddy’s comic book junkie itch. Freddy expresses feeling like an alien in this society. Being a misunderstood good guy trapped in a villains lifestyle. He really allowed himself to let go and have fun to become “Freddy Brock.” Make sure to keep all of that in mind and get those comic books out when you listen to Venom.
The Memory Laps
The Memory Lap$ hosted by DJ Stix of the legendary JJP crew. This is a collection of verses that Freddy had previously recorded and was going to put out as he originally recorded it. Having met the Legendary DJ and telling him about it, Freddy decided to put the verses in DJ Stix hands and let him do his magic. This is a true mixtape for certain. Providing remixes, scratching, and drops throughout it gives you the authentic mixtape feel. Tap in and get familiar
The Starting Lap
This is Freddy Lap$ Debut album. This boom bap classic album won’t disappoint. With production from Bam Savage, Natural Soul and Chop E Choppy Sound. This was a great introduction to Freddy Lap$ and if you’re not familiar with him this is the perfect place to start!
